Decade of Friendship: NOLA with Tori & Kyara

Hello Lovelies,

Nearly a decade-long friendship with Kyara, rooted in high school in 2014, and a college connection with Tori since 2017 – these two worlds unexpectedly collided in 2022. What started as an unintentional introduction became a bond we now cherish, a friendship we didn't know we needed but can't imagine life without. And after everything we faced in 2023, this trip was a beacon of joy.

Kyara, the mastermind behind our New Orleans adventure, orchestrated a fantastic trip. La Galerie Hotel placed us right in the heart of the city's buzz, setting the stage for memories to unfold.

As we navigated the vibrant streets, our taste buds were treated to a culinary feast. From the heavenly Mondays sweet potato beignets to the unmatched crab cakes and grits at Nice Guys Nola, each restaurant became a chapter in our food journey through New Orleans.

Our days were a mix of excitement – a Swamp Tour and a Haunted Bar Crawl added that touch of thrill. Yet, the sweetest moments were spent trying different beignets, a personal favorite for my sweet tooth.

Reflecting on this trip, it was more than just a getaway. It was a celebration of nearly a decade of friendship, laughter, and shared experiences. Leaving New Orleans, we carried not just the taste of exquisite food but the warmth of a friendship that has grown and strengthened over the years. This trip was undoubtedly a much-needed escape, especially after everything we faced in 2023. It served as a reminder of the joy that comes from exploring new places with the ones you hold closest.
