Exploring Curacao: Happy Mother’s Day

After a hectic work season, I was craving a getaway to unwind and explore somewhere new. After much deliberation, I settled on Curacao, nestled in the Caribbean Sea. Owned by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, this charming island boasts a unique blend of Dutch and Caribbean culture.
Excitedly sharing my plans with my mom, she promptly invited herself along—after all, what's a vacation without family and a personal phototgrapher? We checked into the Mangrove Beach Corendon Curacao All-Inclusive by Hilton.
Despite the lively atmosphere by children, we managed to find pockets of tranquility, indulging in beachfront massages, delicious meals, and leisurely moments in cabanas by the beach. Venturing out, we explored the island and discovered the beauty of Mambo Beach, a local gem with pristine sands and azure waters.
Yet, amidst all the adventures, what truly made this trip memorable was the quality time spent with my mom. Reflecting on her strength and resilience as a young single mother having me at just 19 years old, I'm in awe of the life she built for us. Our bond is a testament to her love and dedication, and I cherish every moment we share.
As today is Mother's Day , I'm reminded of how blessed I am to have such a remarkable mom. Here's to celebrating her and all the incredible mothers out there—thank you for your unwavering love and support Bestie! 🌸💖
