Intentionally Spending Time With God

Hello Lovelies,

Let's chat about something real: finding time for God in the midst of our crazy busy lives. I don't know about you, but life sometimes feels like a whirlwind, leaving me running on E by the end of the day. But you know what? Even in the midst of the chaos, I've learned the importance of intentional moments with God.

Picture this: long workdays, endless to-do lists, and a whole lot of tiredness. Yep, that's the reality for many of us. But even when I'm beat, I make it a point to spend some quality time with my Father upstairs. It might be as simple as reading a chapter in my Bible before I go to bed or reading a quick devotional first thing in the morning to meditate on throughout the day. Trust me, it sets the vibe for the day ahead.

But it doesn't stop there. You ever listened some Maverick City Music? or Jekalyn Carr? Girllllllllll. Throughout the day, amidst the chaos of work and responsibilities, I find moments to worship. It keeps me grounded and connected to God throughout the day.

Scripture reminds us of the importance of spending time with God. In Psalm 46:10, we are encouraged to "Be still, and know that I am God." This verse serves as a gentle reminder to just chill and remember that God's got this. And in James 4:8, we are reminded that as we draw near to God, He will draw near to us—showing us the depth of His love and the richness of His grace. It's all about that connection.

Through intentional moments with God, I've found strength, peace, and a whole lot of love. He's my rock in the storm, my guiding light in the dark. So, in the midst of life's craziness, let's keep it real and make time for the One who's always there for us.

With Love,

Jadesha M. Hair
