God Is So Kind & Co. Launch Party & My 26th Birthday Dinner
Hello Lovelies,
On January 24th, I celebrated two incredible milestones: my 26th birthday and the official launch of my business, God Is So Kind & Co. It was a day filled with excitement, joy, and the overwhelming presence of God’s goodness. After months of hard work, prayers, and preparation, I was finally able to share this project with the world. I can confidently say, God is truly so kind.
I invited 40 of my closest friends and family members to the launch party, and every single seat in the room was filled. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I couldn't stop smiling—and even as I write this blog, the joy is still overflowing in my heart. I had prayed for the right people to be present that night, and God answered that prayer abundantly. Everything God does, He does well. The atmosphere was filled with so much love, peace, and celebration, a true reflection of Ephesians 3:20, which says, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us."
The attention to detail at the event was impeccable. From custom God Is So Kind coasters to beautifully curated gift bags, every element came together perfectly. I couldn’t have done it without my dear friend and party planner, Leanna. She went above and beyond, arriving early to coordinate with vendors, set up the entire room, and ensure everything flowed smoothly throughout the night. Any fires that popped up behind the scenes, she handled with grace. I am beyond grateful for her. Having someone like Leanna in my life is truly a blessing.
My sweet momma, Janetta, welcomed everyone at the start of the night. She did such a phenomenal job. I’m constantly in awe of how involved she is in my life. In any way she can show up and help, she’s there—and for that, I’m forever thankful. My dad and brother were also there to support and lend a hand throughout the evening. Their presence made the night even more special.
One of the most emotional moments of the night was when I surprised my stepdad, Derrick, with adoption paperwork. For 22 years, he’s been a father to me, taking me in as his own and consistently being there. He’d always expressed hesitation about overstepping boundaries, but I knew it was time to honor the truth: he is my dad in every way that matters. I wanted to put him in his rightful place, legally and emotionally. When I handed him the paperwork, all I could think about was "Honor your father and your mother," (Exodus 20:12) which took on a deeply personal meaning that night. Derrick, thank you for your unwavering love and presence.
Throughout the evening, we danced to music provided by DJ Moe, caught up with friends and family, and took countless photos to capture these unforgettable memories. I was blessed to have Faith Austin, an incredibly talented photographer, document the entire event. Before the celebration fully kicked off, we started with prayer, led by the Randolphs, setting the perfect tone for the night. "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20).
Reflecting on the past year and everything leading up to this launch, I can only say that I am blessed beyond measure. God has carried me through challenges, growth, and triumphs, molding me into the woman I am today. This launch is more than just a business milestone; it’s a testament to God's faithfulness and provision.
To my incredible support system—my friends, family, and everyone who prayed and celebrated with me—thank you from the bottom of my heart. To Leanna, DJ Moe, Faith Austin, my mom, dad, and brother, you all played such significant roles in making this night one I will never forget. And most importantly, to God, who continues to guide and bless every step of this journey, thank You.
God is truly so kind.
With Love,
Jadesha M. Hair
